Golf cart stolen at Battery Source in Ocala

A golf cart was reportedly stolen at Battery Source in Ocala.

A Marion County sheriff’s deputy responded Monday to Battery Source located at 7201 SW Hwy. 200 in reference to a theft, according to an incident report. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke to the store’s assistant manager, who advised that between 6:20 p.m. on Sunday and 8:00 a.m. on Monday, a gold 2013 Ez-Go gas powered golf cart was stolen out of their fence enclosure. The golf cart is valued at $3,895. The assistant manager advised that the fence was damaged in two places, causing $200 in damage.
