Man with Viagra, crack arrested after spotted sleeping in car at gas station in Lady Lake

A 52-year-old Ocala man found to be in possession of Viagra and crack cocaine was arrested after he was spotted sleeping in a car at a gas station in Lady Lake.

Police were called at 10:53 p.m. Thursday to the Mobil gas station at 841 S. U.S. Hwy. 27/441. The individual who notified police said the sleeping man had a crack pipe in his lap, according to the arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

The man was identified as Lonnie D. Hammond and he admitted he did not have a prescription for Viagra, found in the vehicle. Crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia were also discovered in the vehicle.

He was arrested on drug possession charges and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $3,500 bond.
