Janet Lehmann

Janet Kay Lehmann, 67, of The Villages, FL, passed from this life Sunday, January 21, 2018. Born in Kansas City, Kansas she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ida Mae (Hill) Shively.

Janet worked as a bank teller for several years. Her main focus was her marriage and family whom she adored and cherished all her life. She and her beloved husband of 47 years moved to The Villages from Mesquite, Nevada in 2007.

Janet enjoyed being a military spouse of 26 years along with all the travel. She loved The Villages life style. She participated in numerous craft projects as well as playing golf and shopping.

She leaves her husband, Arthur; daughter, Jennifer Holmes (Christopher), Tampa, FL; son, Daniel Lehmann, Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Zackery S Holmes, Devin Holmes and great grandchildren, Leah and Braxtyn Holmes; four sisters; Sharon Maniss (Bill) The Villages, FL; Linda White, Bentonville, Arkansas; Sheri Shedarowich (Peter), Foley, Alabama; and Teri Morse( Ken), Winlock, WA.

The family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation to be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. followed by a Service at 12:30 p.m. at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral and Cremation Life Event Center 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
