Man arrested at Circle K at Southern Trace

A man was arrested Wednesday night at the Circle K at Southern Trace Plaza in The Villages.

Sumter County sheriff’s deputies were called to investigate a report of an impaired man on a bicycle at about 10:40 p.m.

A deputy located 36-year-old Ian Uriah Rickman of Lady Lake who happened to be wanted on a Lake County warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of methamphetamine possession. He was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and two glass pipes.

He was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $3,000 bond.
