A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a pickup truck Wednesday night on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 near RaceTrac in Lady Lake.
Justin Michael Spittle, 20, of Leesburg, had been riding a 2008 Hyosung motorcycle at 9:06 p.m. on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 when he failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
His motorcycle collided with a 2002 Dodge Dakota pickup driven by 30-year-old Rex Wayne Rednour of Fruitland Park.
Both men were transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
