Ronald Liersch

Ronald A. Liersch, 81, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Ron was born January 18, 1938 in Norwalk, WI.

He was employed as credit manager for 32 years by Sears, Roebuck & Co. Ron was very involved with the sheriff’s department, starting the Spruce Creek Crimewatch Action team, Homeland Security and the Cops program. He was on the Board of Directors for the Caruth Camp, Sheriff’s Youth Ranch.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife, May, of almost 55 years. Other survivors include brother-in-law, Russ Stahnke; sister in law, Judy Nelson, both of Wausau, WI. His nieces Laura Stahnke, St. Louis Park, MN, Linda Emens, Rothschild, WI, Leslie (Dave) Kallsen, Iowa City, IA; great nephew, Kevin Bloczynski, St Louis Park, MN; great nieces, Denise(Drew) Rodiles, Roseville, MN, Erin Kallsen, Iowa City, IA, Christine Kallsen, Milwaukee, WI.

The family requests memorials made in Ron’s name to Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches, P. O. Box 2000, Boys Ranch, FL 32064.
