Fruitland Park Police apprehend illegal aliens

Fruitland Park Police Officer Bryan Wilson conducted a traffic stop Tuesday on U.S. Hwy 27 at County Road 25A and determined that two of the vehicle’s occupants were illegal aliens. Border Patrol was contacted. Gustavo Martinez Cortez, 27, and Jose Eugenio Martinez-Cortez, 33, were detained and transported to the Lake County Jail pending deportation.
