Decisions about squares and golf put Villagers in danger

To the Editor:

There is no reason to mandate that two people must ride together when playing golf. Should four people sign up for golf and two are not together, the rule that only two carts per foursome then forces two people to ride together. This is a POSSIBLE health risk. Whomever is coming up with these rules may need to look at it again. Please do not make the saying that “stupid is as stupid does” come true.
It is bad enough the squares are now open and putting our health at risk. I understand we do not need to go, but what if a person who goes gets COVID and then the next day bumps into you at a store? Then you are at risk. Why do we see photos of so many without masks on? Not a good sign for our community.
