Villager Gary Crawley’s band The Jammers made their debut Saturday afternoon at World of Beer in Brownwood Paddock Square.

This after a recent performance at Johnny Rocket’s at Lake Sumer Landing.

“What can I tell you, I am living the dream,” said Crawley of the Village of Amelia.

His band played New Orleans-style, sing-along music for the Saturday afternoon World of Beer crowd.

Songs included “Shine On Harvest Moon” and “I’m Looking Over a Four-Leaf Clover.”

Crawley was a train conductor up in Michigan.

But for several years, he has been knocking around The Villages playing music.

He plays the banjo.

He is always looking for opportunities to jam with fellow Villages musicians, particularly now as two of his regular musicians are about to head north.
