Panel of ‘roasters’ unveiled for Lt. Wolfe retirement bash

A  Retirement Roast for Lt. Nehemiah Wolfe will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9 at Lake Miona Recreation Center.

The event is being sponsored by the Villages Homeowners Association and is open to the public.

The panel of roasters will include:

• Gary Lester, vice president of Community Relations for The Villages.

• Villages Recreation Department Director John Rohan.

• Former Lady Lake Police Chief Ed Nathanson.

• Former District Manager Pete Wahl, now of State Rep. Marlene O’Toole’s staff.

• Former Sumter County Commissioner Dick Hoffman.

• Sumter County Commission Chair Don Hahnfeldt.

• Fred Gibbons of Compass Human Resources in The Villages.

• Former Villages Fire Chief Mike Tucker.

The Master of Ceremonies will be VHA President Fred Briggs.
