A 25-year-old man was arrested Sunday at CVS in The Villages after allegedly stealing his uncle’s pickup truck.

A Sumter County Sheriff’s deputy arrived at CVS at 5208 E. County Road 466 at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday where the deputy found Richard Brady Lloyd of Ocala. He was found to be in possession of a key to a green Ford Ranger pickup parked in the lot. Lloyd admitted to the deputy he had taken the pickup, which belongs to his uncle, without permission. The vehicle had been reported stolen that same day to the Ocala Police Department.

Lloyd has two previous convictions for grand theft, according to the arrest report.

He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $2,000 bond.
