24-year-old man killed when pickup leaves roadway and overturns

A 24-year-old man was killed when his pickup left the roadway and overturned Saturday morning in Volusia County.

Phillip Ehrecke of Lake Helen had been at the wheel of a 1986 Toyota pickup which had been traveling on State Road 44 when it left the roadway and the crash occurred, according to an accident report for the Florida Highway Patrol.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident
