Linda L. Johnston

Linda L. Johnston, age 73, of The Villages, FL, daughter of Col. Gordon and Hilda Lake, passed away quietly in Leesburg, FL, early Wednesday morning on September 5, 2018.

A graduate of the University of Maine, she worked in executive capacity at RCA/ Lockheed Martin in Camden and Moorestown, NJ for over 20 years. Linda was an accomplished equestrian and ardent golfer. She also enjoyed tennis, investing, and had a love for animals.

Linda is survived by her daughter Kate of Collegeville, PA, her brother Gordon of Melbourne, Fl, and two grandchildren, Grace and Holly.

Services will be held at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home on 3975 Wedgewood Lane, in The Villages, Florida on Tuesday, September 11 at 11 a.m. There will also be services held at the First Presbyterian Church in Moorestown, NJ at 11am on Saturday, September 15.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Sumter county SPCA in Florida, or any local SPCA near Moorestown, NJ.
