Henry Joseph Dionne, age 86, passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2016 in The Villages, FL. He was born in Uxbridge, MA and came to The Villages, FL 26 years ago from Connecticut. He was an employee of the Armstrong Tire Company before retiring to The Villages in 1990. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Mr. Dionne was preceded in death by his son: Raymond Joseph Dionne.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years: Cecile Dionne, The Villages, FL; 2 sons: Thomas Joseph Dionne, Milford, CT; Daniel Joseph Dionne, Vernon, CT.; Daughter: Celeste Marie Dionne Denne, East Haddam, CT; 2 Brothers: Robert Dionne, Missouri; Donald Dionne, Coventry, RI; 3 Sisters: Doris Lauzon, The Villages, FL; Madeline Richard, RI; Carol Parady, FL.; 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Mr. Dionne will have a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Woonsocket, RI., with Inurnment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Lady Lake, FL. at a later date.
