Stolen truck recovered in parking lot of Oak Leaf Apartments

A pickup truck stolen out of Marion County was recovered July 27 in the parking lot of Oak Leaf Apartments on County Road 466.

The 2012 Chevrolet truck owned by DZ Block of Ocala had been abandoned at Building 12 near the trash dumpster, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

The truck’s owner told police there had been an attempted use of his debit card located in his wallet which had been in the side pocket of the driver’s door.
