John J. Souza, 76, of Ocklawaha passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 in his home while surrounded by his family. John J. Souza was a native of Cambridge, Massachusetts and moved to Ocklawaha in 1989.He loved spending time with his family and had a passion for the arts. He enjoyed cooking and had a great love for Jelly donuts. He is survived by his five children Carolann Jones of SilverSprings FL, John Souza Jr. of Ocklawaha FL, LindaJean Bowen of Haverhill MA, CindyLou Carrubba of Fremont NH, and LaurieAnn Yannakoureas of SilverSprings FL, also his 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and his most loyal friend Dixie. He is Predeceased by his loving wife Mary F Souza. A viewing service will be held on Wednesday the 19th from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Hiers-Baxley funeral home 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL, 34420.Funeral Services will be held on Thursday 20th 2014 at 10am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
