Piano sing-along event Sunday at Lake Miona for Operation Shoebox

Entertainer Bob Jackson, direct from Disney World, will entertain with a piano sing-along at 6 p.m. Sunday at Lake Miona Recreation Center in a fundraiser for Operation Shoebox.

The admission fee is $10 per person for the BYOB event.

Powered by personal donors, corporate partners like Sam’s Club, the Operation Shoebox Thrift Store, and more than 1,300 volunteers, the organization has sent care packages containing toiletries, entertainment, snacks and holiday items to troops deployed around the world, many in war zones. One hundred percent of donations to the 501 (c) 3 nonprofit go to troops.
