A 60-year-old Lady Lake man is free on $10,000 bond following his arrest Oct. 9 on a charge of driving while license revoked for driving under the influence.

Thomas Herald Rohan was pulled over by Lady Lake police after he allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign coming out of Rolling Acres shopping plaza at 6:45 a.m.

When the officer asked for Rohan’s driver’s license, he handed the officer a Florida identification card. When the officer asked how long Rohan’s license had been suspended, Rohan responded, “for life,” according to the arrest report. Rohan had lost his license in 2001 due to multiple DUI convictions, the arrest report indicated.

Rohan was transported to the Lake County Jail. He was also cited for violation of a traffic control device.
