A 53-year-old bicyclist was critically injured after being struck by a car at 5:09 p.m. Sunday on NW 122nd Street (Parker Rd) in Gainesville.
The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking information on a white Oldsmobile that apparently struck the bicyclist and fled the scene.
The bicyclist was transported to UF Shands Health and remains in critical condition.
