At 8:40 a.m., Marion County Public Safety Communications received a 911 call for a vehicle roll-over accident involving a Chevrolet 15-passenger van and a Chrysler 300.  Marion County Fire Rescue crews arrived on scene in less than five minutes to find the van, operated by Eagle Medical Management, rolled over onto its side with seven occupants inside.

MCFR firefighters were able to safely extricate all seven occupants.  MCFR paramedics evaluated the driver and six passengers on-scene and transported them to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.  The driver of the Chrysler 300 was also transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

The cause of the accident is unknown and is currently under investigation by Florida Highway Patrol.
