Marion County Fire Rescue called to contain fuel leak after accident

Marion County Fire Rescue was called to contain a fuel leak after a collision at 7:09 a.m. Monday between a semi and a Ford F-150 on County Road 326.

The semi driver, 28-year-old Nosachov Oleksii of Chicago, had been preparing to make a wide turn when his truck collided with the Ford F-150 driven by 29-year-old Jessica Bramlett of Ocala, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

The semi contained 100 gallons of fuel leaking after the collision. MCRF arrived on the scene and contained the leak.

Oleksii was ticketed on a charge of careless driving.
