Registered sex-offender in Fruitland Park arrested on charge of grand theft

Registered sex-offender in Fruitland Park arrested
Christopher Michael Cederholm

A 35-year-old Fruitland Park sex-offender was arrested Monday afternoon after he allegedly stole a saw valued at $630.

Christopher Michael Cederholm of 36730 Daisy Lane asked the victim to borrow the saw to complete a tree job on Oct. 19, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

He later refused to return the saw.

On Monday, deputies made contact with Cederholm and collected the saw as evidence. Cederholm was taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was later released after posting $2,000 bond.

Cederholm has four previous arrests, including a 2008 arrest on a charge of lewd and lascivious behavior. He was required to register as a sex offender as a result of that conviction.
