26-year-old former Evans Prairie employee killed in car crash

A 26-year-old woman who had previously worked at Evans Prairie Country Club in The Villages was killed Monday night when her car struck a tree.

Holly Marie Kelmar had been driving a 2012 Chevy Cruze at 11:26 p.m. Monday westbound on County Road 104 in Sumter County when the accident occurred, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Her vehicle traveled off the south side of the roadway and struck a tree. Kelmar was transported to The Villages Regional Hospital where she later died from her injuries.

Kelmar was the mother of two young children. The children’s father is Brian Davis, who works at Bonifay Country Club in The Villages.
