Is Katie Belle’s safe for the handicapped or anyone else?

To the Editor:

After visiting and dining at Katie Belles restaurant I became very concerned about my handicapped partners ability to escape a fire. The very small elevator will not operate during a fire and steep stairs were impossible to use with a walker or wheelchair to get to the ground floor. Not to mention the crowd of people pushing and shoving. How was this approved? I called the fire department with no response. We loved the old Katie Belle’s and hope you can find a safe solution. Please help!!
