Oxford man arrested after allegedly throwing woman out of back door of trailer

A 43-year-old Oxford man was arrested after he allegedly threw a woman out of the back door of a trailer while screaming profanities at her.

David William Still is facing a charge of battery following his arrest Wednesday night by Wildwood police. When police arrived, Still had blood on his face was sitting on a bed drinking a beer and refused to talk to police, according to the arrest report.

The woman, who has lived with Still for eight years, said he had struck her in the face, kicked her multiple times, took her shirt off and threw her out the back door, the arrest report indicated. She told police she wanted to see him prosecuted.

He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
