Firefighters take part in ‘Braveheart Challenge’ in scholarship fund-raiser for Charter School

Area firefighters took part Saturday in the first “Braveheart Challenge” at Brownwood Paddock Square.

The event, which took place in the parking lot behind World of Beer, pitted firefighters, including area cadets, against each other in scenarios that first responders often face.

The event was sponsored by the Villages Insurance, in memory of former president Scott Robertson, who was killed at age 51 in a motorcycle accident last year. You can read more about him HERE

Future scholarships will be given to Villages High School graduating seniors through the Buffalo Scholarship Foundation.
