James ‘Jim’ Ashmore

James “Jim” Ashmore, age 77, of Summerfield, FL, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. He was born in Phillipsburgh, NJ on July 25, 1939.

During his life Jim worked for Bell and Howell as a Machinist. He retired and moved to Florida 10 years ago. Jim was a Methodist. He loved riding his bike, going to Las Vegas, visiting family in Pennsylvania, the pool at Stonecrest and playing bingo.

He is survived by his wife Rosie; sons Brian, James and Michael; step sons Bruce and Bryan Kelly; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His remains will be taken to Bethlehem, PA for burial at a later date.
