Kyle Robert Langston

A man was arrested after he was found passed out in a vehicle at a service station in The Villages.

A Sumter County sheriff’s deputy found 27-year-old Kyle Robert Langston of Fruitland Park shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday in a running Pontiac at the air pump at the Marathon service station at Pinellas Plaza.

The deputy pounded on the window to try to wake up Langston. The deputy also summoned EMS.

Langston failed field sobriety exercises. He also admitted he had needles containing crack cocaine in his vehicle. He also told the deputy he had taken a dosage of Xanax for which he does not have a prescription.

He was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and possession of drug equipment. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $2,000 bond.
