Finally got the golf cart path striped

To the Editor:

A couple years ago my friend Sandy and I went before the committee saying how important we thought striping was for our area. They decided we needed lawyers for our suggestion which cost $50,000. They probably didn’t live in The Villages to drive a golf cart at night. Some other people came up with expensive ideas so it was scrapped. After the meeting, one of the guys came up to me and said how well the path was lit. I sure didn’t know what path he was on.
I am glad we finally got someone on the committee that decided we did need striping and it is getting done. Amazing 15 cents to $50,000. We need people to make our decisions that live in the Villages not outside.
A big thanks to Bill Schikora.
