A man was arrested after showing up at a 17-year-old girl’s home in Lady Lake and threatening to use a 9mm gun.
Skylar Allan Dawson, 20, of Belleview, had been banned from contact with the teen after he was arrested by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies in November, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
However, Dawson defied the judge’s order by showing up at 1:30 a.m. Monday at the girl’s home on Woodland Trail, the arrest report said. Dawson was in the backyard when police arrived on the scene. He had threatened to harm her with a 9mm gun.
When Dawson was being walked to the patrol car, “he began to yell at her, accusing her of ruining his life and not to do this to him,” the officer wrote in the arrest report. Dawson also asked the woman “to call his Mom.”
Dawson was arrested on a violation of his pretrial release and booked at the Lake County Jail, where he was initially held without bond.
