A South Dakota woman with a suspended license was arrested after she was caught speeding on State Road 44.
Shikina Dionne Bing-Connelly, 37, of Aberdeen, S.D., was driving at about 10 p.m. Sunday on State Road 44 near Walker Road when she was caught on radar traveling 69 miles per hour in 45 mph zone, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
During a traffic stop, Bing-Connelly presented a South Dakota driver’s license and a rental agreement for the car she was driving.
She admitted that she was not supposed to be driving in Florida, as that privilege had been suspended due to unpaid fines, the report said. The officer confirmed her license had been suspended as of March 27, 2018 due to unpaid traffic fines in Lake County. He also found she has six prior convictions for driving while license suspended.
She was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. She was released after posting $3,500 bond. She was also issued a written warning for speeding.
