Timucua Chapter of the Colonial Dames installs new officers

The Timucua Chapter of the Colonial Dames of the 17th Century installed new officers on Saturday, May 4 at Stonecrest Golf Club.

The new officers are Fran Into, president, Village of Pennecamp; Connie Taylor, first vice president, Village of Lake Deaton; Adrienne King, chaplain, Village of Mallory Square; Beverly Gentry, recording secretary, Hernando; Barbara Gardner, Crystal River; Sallie Kautz, Village of Glenbrook, registrar; Sherry Brady, Kissimmee; Pat Bevis, historian, Ocala; and Judy Lewis, librarian, Leesburg.

The Colonial Dames of the 17th Century is a non-political women’s lineage society dedicated to aid in the preservation of the records and of the historic sites of our country, aid in the education of our youth, maintain a library of heraldry and to preserve the lineage and coat of arms of our armorial ancestors.
