Signature Coach closes its doors, promises refunds to prepaid customers

Less than two years after opening their doors, airport transportation provider Signature Coach Inc. has ended its run in central Florida.

The company quietly announced via voicemail that they would be closed “effective April 26 at 8:30 a.m.” The complete statement was as follows:

“Effective April 26, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. signature coach will be closed. We are unable to provide any transportation services at this time. We do apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. All trips that are already booked will be refunded promptly. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct all communication through email to the following address: mgraves@signaturecoachinc.com. Voicemails left will be checked periodically throughout the upcoming days. Again, we apologize for the short notice and any inconveniences that this may cause. Thank you and have a great day.”

Customers with prepaid reservations are being refunded and all questions should be directed to the company’s email address (mgraves@signaturecoach.com). The company’s website has been disabled and no longer takes reservations.

In October last year, a driver for the company lost his license for a year after he was arrested with vodka in a cooler in a company van. You can read more about that HERE. After the company’s closure this week, a driver issued a statement of apology through Villages-News.com. You can read that HERE.

That same month, the owner of Rite Way LLC (the company’s parent organization located in Massachusetts), was charged  “in connection with an alleged scheme involving $19 million in false claims billed to the state’s Medicaid program,” according to Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey’s office. That case is still ongoing.
