James Mount

James F. Mount, 80, went to be with our Lord on November 10, 2015.

Jim was born and raised in Buffalo, New York.

He moved to The Villages from Norwalk Ct. in 2000 after retiring as Store Manager of the Norwalk

Stew Leonard’s.  Jim loved Stews and the people he worked with there.

In The Villages, Jim met and married the love of his life Louise.

He was of the Lutheran Faith and a member of Hope Lutheran Church in The Villages.

Jim was an avid competitive cyclist all his life, winning many races and awards.

He was co-founder and a member of the Villages Bicycle Club, a past president of the Buffalo Western NY Club, a member of the Village Nomads Motorcycle Club and enjoyed playing cards with friends, swimming and just enjoying life in the warm Florida sunshine with his wife Louise.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Louise of The Villages, his stepsons Max Jarkow of Seattle, WA and Otto Jarkow of Denver, CO, his children Robin Pera, Jamie Kircher, Douglas Mount, Clyde Mount, Karen Mount and Eric Mount of Ct., and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters Michele and Cheryl in Buffalo NY and sister Carol of The Villages and Buffalo NY.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, the Villages date to be announced followed by a reception where all of Jim’s many friends are welcome to celebrate his life and time with us.
