Kindness of a stranger restores faith in mankind

To the Editor:
I was in one of the pro shops in the villages on Christmas Eve,  looking for a particular type of golf ball for my husband. This particular make is unusual and not stocked in the shop.
However, a golfer overheard my tale of woe, went to her golf bag and produced two brand spanking new ones and gave them to me. “Linda” wouldn’t take any money for them and wished me Merry Christmas!
So, thank you so much Linda my faith in mankind has been restored!
The Villages never fails to amaze me.
